Carbine Colt Lightning
Carbine Colt Lightning, also called the rifle Colt Lightning - a carbine with pump recharge, provided by Colt from 1884 to 1904 in the original .44-40 caliber. Ultimately carbine had three different lengths, and used a wide range of cartridges from .22 Short to .38-40 and .50-95 Express. Appearance carbine resembled a pump action shotguns Winchester Repeating Arms Company and Remington Arms for rimfire cartridges. Lightning was used as a sporting weapon, and was adopted by the police department of San Francisco, but he was never popular as well as his contemporary lever-action rifle.
